Oh Hell! - Contract Whist

Oh Hell! is the world's most popular trick-taking card game in which the object is to take exactly the number of tricks bid. Also knows as Contract Whist, Oh Well!, German Bridge, Blackout or Up and Down the River.

The aim of the game is to score points by winning tricks (each trick scores one point) and by correctly predicting how many tricks you will win each round (this scores 10 points per round). The winner of the game is the player with the most points after a fixed number of rounds.

The rules of play are those of standard trick-taking games. A card is beaten by a higher card of the same suit or any trump card. When a card is played, the other players must follow suit (play a card of the same suit) if possible. If they do not hold any cards of the leading suit, they may choose to trump by playing any trump card to win, or throw away by playing any non-trump card to lose.

Our version uses 'standard' rules, but a few are optional to appeal to everyone's preferred way of playing oh hell:

- You can set the 'screw the dealer' rule to be on or off

- You can set nil bids to only receive 5 and not 10 bonus points if the contract is met

- You can set the trump suit to be determined by the next card or to alternate

- You can set the number of players to between 3 and 7

- You can play 4 types of game; up, down, up and down or down and up

- You can set the AI level to be either easy, or hard for a bigger challenge

¡Oh diablos! es el más popular juego de toma de truco de cartas del mundo en el que el objetivo es tener exactamente el número de trucos oferta. También sabe como Contrato whist, bueno !, Puente alemán, apagón o arriba y abajo del río.

El objetivo del juego es anotar puntos al ganar trucos (cada truco puntuaciones de un punto) y por predecir correctamente el número de trucos que va a ganar cada ronda (esta anota 10 puntos por ronda). El ganador del juego es el jugador con más puntos después de un número fijo de rondas.

Las reglas de juego son las de juegos estándar toma de truco. Una carta es golpeado por una carta más alta del mismo palo o cualquier carta de triunfo. Cuando se juega una carta, los otros jugadores deben seguir el juego (jugar una carta del mismo palo) si es posible. Si ellos no tienen ningún cartas del juego que lleva, se puede optar por trompeta tocando en cada una baza para ganar, o tirar a la basura al jugar cualquier carta de triunfo no perder.

Nuestra versión utiliza reglas 'estándar', pero algunos son opcionales para atraer a modo preferido de todos de jugar oh demonios:

- Puede configurar la regla 'atornillar el distribuidor' para ser encendido o apagado

- Se puede establecer ofertas nil sólo para recibir 5 y no 10 puntos de bonificación si se cumple el contrato

- Puede configurar el palo de triunfo que será determinado por la siguiente carta o para alternar

- Puede configurar el número de jugadores a entre 3 y 7

- Se puede jugar 4 tipos de juego; arriba, abajo, arriba y abajo o hacia arriba y abajo

- Puede configurar el nivel de AI a ser fácil o difícil para un desafío más grande
